Air powered laundry collection system supplied by ME Integra in the UAE

ME Integra is a UAE partner for Laundry Jet, the air-powered laundry collection system that moves laundry from any room directly to the laundry area without carrying baskets up and down stairs. Unlike traditional gravity-fed laundry chutes, it works in single-storey villas as well as multi-storey homes.

What Is an Air-Powered Laundry Collection System?

An air-powered laundry collection system uses a vacuum unit connected to wall-mounted ports and concealed PVC piping. Placing laundry into a port and opening it activates suction, carrying the laundry through the piping to a collection unit in the laundry room. Closing the port switches the system off.

How the System Transports Laundry

The system uses air-powered mechanisms to move laundry from various rooms in your home to the laundry area. With ports installed in key locations, this system sends laundry - whether towels, clothes, or bedding - directly to the laundry room without any physical handling.

Air-powered laundry collection has changed the way laundry is managed across the Middle East.

Works in Single-Storey and Multi-Storey Homes

The functionality of an automatic laundry system is not location-specific; it may be used in single-storey residences, multi-storey buildings, bungalows, and villas. Our Vacuum Laundry Chute design lets you place a laundry port anywhere in your home that sends laundry directly to the laundry room.

A traditional laundry chute can only be used in homes with two storeys or more because it only moves downward. An air-powered laundry collection system moves laundry up, down, and around your house, regardless of how many storeys it has.

Our incredible automatic laundry system changes your laundry routine for good - making laundry tidier and freeing up your time for other tasks.

System Components and Design

1. Laundry Ports mounted in bedrooms, dressing rooms or bathrooms.

2. The laundry room 'Wall mounted' or 'Cabinet' Vacuum Unit.

3. The PVC pipe and fittings that connect the ports to the laundry room.

Vacuum Laundry Pipe
We use vacuum pipe and fittings made of 159mm strong PVC for the system, since a powerful vacuum is produced when the unit is in use that would cause normal rigid pipe to distort.

The PVC vacuum piping is designed to have a smooth transition between fittings and connections to ensure that clothing, bedding and towels will travel smoothly to the laundry room.

Vacuum Pipe & Fittings
  • Six Inch white vacuum pipe 10' x 6”
  • Six Inch 45 Fitting

Yes. Unlike a traditional gravity-fed laundry chute, which only moves downward and needs a multi-storey layout, an air-powered system uses vacuum suction to move laundry up, down or across a building, so it works in single-storey villas as well as multi-storey homes.
A system can typically be designed with multiple ports across bedrooms, dressing rooms and bathrooms, scaling from a small home with a single port to a large property with ports in every bedroom, bathroom and closet.
The system is designed for dry or lightly damp laundry such as towels, bed sheets, clothing and light blankets. It is not intended for wet items straight from a shower or bath, since the piping and vacuum unit are designed for textiles, not liquids.
